Different types of mouth watering Burfi made at home on the celebratory occasion of Deepawali are Kaju-Katri Burfi, Nariyal Burfi, Pista-Badam Burfi, Khoya Burfi, Doda Burfi, Chocolate Burfi, etc. one more peculiar diwali sweet is Kalakand. It is made of pure khoya and sugar. Other than these, Gujia, Shaker pare, Peda, Gulab Jamun, Phirni are some of the traditional Indian sweets specially prepared and served on the festive occasion of Diwali.
